Megali Arktos was founded in 2014 as a partnership between specialized scientists related to the fields of health, food and environment sectors.
Our main activities are:
- the improvement, maintenance and observance of procedures related to the safety of food and health standards in accordance to legislative requirements.
- the preparation and establishment of licensing requirements of private and public businesses which are regulated by health and safety legislation.
Our main Functions
- Analyze each business according to its functions and design flow chart analysis of food preparation procedures and requirements to their final point of sale
- Design and implement HACCP studies (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) which identify, analyze, correct, and prevent hazards throughout the production process. These include physical, chemical, and biological hazards.
- Design health and food safety control standards
- Design plot imprints of the production, preparation, and final point of sale
- Provide consultation services

- Our company is staffed by expert analysts and professionals who study and render advisory services giving special emphasis in the areas of quality, reliability and avoidance of all health hazards
- We are staffed with health and food sanitation experts and certified HACCP inspectors
- Our company collaborates on a permanent basis with civil engineers, architects, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, agriculturalists, biologists and specialized medical health and safety occupationalists whose main goal is to inspect and identify occupational hazards for corrective action.
- We collaborate with companies specialized in environmental studies and ISO licensing.
Services
Food and Health Hazards

- Perform food and health hazard inspections, plan and implement health safety procedures in order to prevent any food and workplace health contamination
- Design flow charts which relate to the production of preparation of food products from point of receiving primary ingredients to point of sale accompanied by a detailed analysis
- Prepare technical reports relating to food and health legislative standards
- Prepare and design ground plant imprints of all food product preparations and maintenance procedures
- Process license procedures depending on the special characteristics of each business operation which is subject to food and health legislature
- Prepare and implement HACCP studies stressing the critical points of food and health hazards
- Prepare and issue log books for record retention of food maintenance standards in accordance to legislation
- Prepare allergen identification studies to food production industries
- Offer advisory services to shield an enterprise of any food and health hazard implication and to comply with existing legislation with the ultimate goal of developing and promoting the quality of the food enterprise
Environmental

- Prepare environmental studies and analysis (environmental commitments and avoidance of environmental repercussions) which are required by law for new buildings and buildings undergoing renovation
- Prepare Waste Management Studies for all food enterprises
- Prepare Water Management Studies for the identification and prevention of water contamination
Urban Planning

- Perform the required building inspections in accordance with the imprints of the ground plan designs of all businesses in accordance to food and health legislation
- Prepare documentation for the issuance of building permits in relation to the licensing of businesses associated with food and health legislation
